People and machinery of VDL

Our 80+ professional staff and approx. 85 injection moulding machines constitute the core of our operations; we treat them as the valuable assets they are. Our staff is well-trained, either through relevant professional training courses or in-house instruction. Together, these people can offer a level of expertise and experience that few competitors can match.




Our injection moulding equipment offers die closing pressures ranging from 20 up to 3,200 tonnes. This is just one indicator of our continuing commitment to always go that extra mile. Just a few years ago, our 2,000 tonne moulding machine was the biggest in the industry for the production of PVC-U pressure fittings. Our current largest injection moulding machine was developed especially for our plant, and it is the largest of its type in the entire world.




For VDL, high quality and rapid production are key operating parameters. For example, we have our own tooling shop enabling us to offer competitive delivery times.
